IFAI Expo 1998 on Pace to be Largest Yet ROSEVILLE, MN, May 11, 1998 — If exhibit sales are any indication of the success of IFAI Expo 1998, this year's premier technical fabrics convention and trade show is on pace to be the largest and most successful in the show's 85-year history. According to projections by the show sponsor, Industrial Fabrics Association International (EFAI), more than 6,500 participants and 400 exhibitors will gather in New Orleans, Louisiana USA for the technical fabrics industry's event of the year on October 8-10, 1998.
IFAI Expo 1998, previously known as Discover Expo and Industrial Fabric & Equipment Exposition, has a new theme this year: New opportunities, New products, New Orleans. Every year industry suppliers gather to display new products and services to end-product manufacturers that attend to learn about the latest industry developments and market trends. This year marks the largest assembly of technical fabric professionals IFAI has ever assembled, encompassing over 94,000 square feet of convention floor space.
Exhibit space at IFAI Expo 1998 is already 97% sold, making it the most successful IFAI Exposition to date. Nearly 400 manufacturers, jobbers, distributors, converters and importers will display a wide variety of newly developed industry-related products and services on the spacious Ernest N. Morial. Convention Center show floor.
