FiberSource is the website of the American Fiber Manufacturers Association (AFMA), the U.S. national trade association representing the interests of America's manufactured fiber producers. Membership in the association is open to producers of manufactured fiber, as well as companies that have significant commercial interest in the well-being of the U.S. manufactured fiber industry.
The Association's goal is to foster the well-being of the industry and accomplishes this by work in three areas:
- identifying and achieving health, safety, environmental, trade, and other beneficial public policy
outcomes.
- collecting, assembling, publishing the industry’s official data on production, shipments, and related market developments.
- providing members with timely briefings on significant domestic and global issues related to the
health and competitiveness of the U.S. manufactured fiber industry.
